Heading to high country to beat the heat.
Want to include some technical and challenge to make it fun and memorable.

Friday evening arrival: Jason, Dave K, Kurt, Swen
Thursday:
Ride pave to 70 and 4 trees road. Over Milsap Bar, up to LaPorte, down to Poker Flat. We either camp down there or head up to the 49 and Downieville area.
Tracks 1 and 2
Friday:
A loop northeast that puts us at a camping/meeting Friday fellers at Dixie Mountain Fire lookout. If we can't camp there, we'll camp on the route up to there. Whichever group gets there first, they decide on where to make camp. The others join when they arrive. If there is a deep water crossing, make a decision and leave a sign of some sort for the second group if you go through it.
Tracks 3 and 4 and Fridaymeet track.
Saturday:
Continue north to high country above/near Eagle Lake. The track will take us all the way to Chester, but the idea is to camp somewhere on the track. I have a little track up to Crater Mountain, so we can investigate that as a spot. Wilderness camping planned for this night.
Tracks 5 and 6
Sunday:
Heading home for some.
Track 7 from Chester to home via Humbug/Humboldt. Use it or not.
