Camping Preparedness
The basics that you should have:
Hard alcohol: just in case we don't get to a store. The rest of the items won't matter then.
House: tent, pad, pillow, bag.
Camp chair
Hat
Headlamp or other light
Coffee cup
A way to heat water or cook: stove, fuel, lighter.
Bowl/plate, fork/spoon.
Foods that cook easy and are mostly healthy. Safety Food (like cup noodles) is handy. Coffee (Via) to live proper
Beanie, hoodie, and general warm wear. The new electric/battery vests are amazing.
Camp shoes. Moto boots aren't fun around camp.
Several layers of camp clothes to have variability
Rain protection. At the very least, a rain jacket, but a tarp or something else is good too. I carry a collapsible umbrella always.
Plenty of water or a filter to make fresh water from a stream
It's key to not over pack. Think backpacking. But it's also key to be comfortable. So, several layers to stay warm and dry is ideal.
Wet wipes
Bug Spray or wipes
Hand/Pocket Warmers
Camp Towel
Toiletries, including shampoo/soap. This can also help with changing a tube on the trail.
